THE MOVIES
The campaign for The Movies had a few real challenges we needed to figure out. Licensing, as always, was the main issue, especially for a series solely focused on movies and produced under Fair Use guidelines. We also didn’t want the series to feel too academic or too "historical". We were very conscious of the tone of the campaign and were thoughtful about our selection of movies and characters to feature. We also drafted our anchors to help locate the series on CNN and provide an opportunity to leverage their large personal social footprints to help promote the show.
